Good bye old friend

We have moved out of our rental home and into our first home. It was bitter sweet in some ways, like saying good bye to a friend. This was not our own home, but our home none the less. Its walls rescued a family in need and we were greatful. We were able to live comfortably in this home with our family until we could buy our own home. As we had come off a bad building experience, and lived with my parents for 6 months, this house offered us a place to bring a new baby home, not have to live in an apartment any more, and taught us so much. We have fond memories of this house and the times we spent here. We look forward to loving our new house the way we came to love this one. I remember asking mom, "Do you think I will like living here?"she said she thought so, she was right. Best wished 2851 Sand Berry Dr.

We learned.......

1. That we love yard work
2. A new ward is a blessing you did not know you needed
3. How to pick out the right color of green paint, or not
4. That wallpaper is from the devil
5. Culdesacs bring people together
6. Spiders are not as scary as you thought
7. Little houses bring families closer
8. Storage, storage, storage
9. Crazy neighbors can become friends
10. Rentals are not forever

We will miss....

1. Tay-Tay, ashely and chip
2. Our neighbors and friends in WSF
3. The 2 months J lived one second away
4. Living on Mills Branch Road (easy access to Porter walmart)
5. KITCHEN STORAGE and then some
6. Birds at the feeder
7. Upgrade tile
8. Our neighbor's awesome trash raids(Fab stuff)
9. The culdesac
10. Tiger our pseudo pet cat (he is a real cat, real pet, just not ours)

Thanks Mike and Holly for building a great house, built for you, us, for families with love.

Our Ray of Sunshine, we call him DAD!!!

Austin and dad at the park
Dad loves to bake with the kids

Heath and Austin love their dad

Proof that Sonny plays on the floor in church clothes

It is no wonder their first words were DADA!!!

I wanted to let Sonny know how much we appreciate him and all that he does for our family. The same guy who loved his clean BMW, his clothes ironed and neat and was impatient with small kids, has traded his car in for the messy mini van, tolerates sticky fingers and noses wiped on his shirts in church and rolls around on the floor with our volume challenged boys. Sonny has turned into a dad, one that we love, respect and admire. He is talented, smart, capable, lovable and fun. He can hold both boys at one time, while coloring in church, and looks good doing it. He is a teacher, leader, friend and playmate to our family. He is nurturing and kind. What a great example he is to everyone. He is the first to get up with a sick or scared child at night, has slept many a night with Heath when he needed him. Tickles, giggles, and makes the best breakfasts and cookies. Give hugs and kisses freely and loves his family. Gives up the last cookie or candy to the kids, cuts meat, gets drinks, changes diapers and much more. We love you DAD!!!

We're moving :)

We have kept it covert for long enough, we have bought a house here in kingwood and we're MOVING!!! We are very excited and up to our eyeballs in boxes. How can we have so much stuff. Buds!!!

Tyler and Heath are great buds. They have known each other since they were 8 months old, when we first moved to Texas. They love to play together and have fun. They like to play at the pool, look for bugs, They love to talk about eyeballs and worms and lots of gross stuff, and then laugh and laugh. They want to do science related things, play at the park, eat popsicles and just be 5 year old boys. We love Tyler and we are so glad to get to be around his sweet little spirit and easy going personality. He is a good compliment to Heath's. I love to watch them act silly and be little boys. What a blessing to have found such a good friend so early. We hope they will be friends for a long time. Watch out ladies for these cuties when they are older (Much). They both love their moms and being together. Thanks for being a great friend T!!!

Frontier life!!!

We went to Jesse Jones park ( a nearby park and nature preserve) for Heath's 4 year old preschool field trip, We had the best time, even the moms loved it. We took a nature walk, learned to build a fire with out matches, while learning about Texas pioneer life. We got to watch a blacksmith at work, and learn about fur trading. The kids loved the carnivorous plants and frogs in the pond. No snakes, the moms were thrilled, but the kids were looking forward to that. We had a picnic and played on the playground. The weather was so beautiful for May and we had a fantastic time. We loved it. YEA Jesse Jones park!!!!

CANDY FACE

Austin got a hold of Heath's candy necklace. You would have thought he won the lottery. He was thrilled. We tried to pry it out of his hands, he just walked around with it dangling out of his mouth. Saying UMMMM!!! What a candy face.

HEATH IS 5!!!!!!

Look who's finally 5!!!! Happy Birthday Heath
Lots of presents and fun breakfast

Playing outside, great day!!!!!

celebrating with his class!!!!

Heath is finally five. He has complained for weeks that all his friends are five, (in his best whiney voice) I WILL NEVER BE FIVE!!:( So it is official he is five. He had a great birthday, lots of presents, a chalk rake, rocket launcherss (always a hit with boys) and lots of his own office supplies, so mom does not have to go crazy getting the scissors, stapler and pens. He was a very happy boy. He requested sloppy joes for dinner. We played outside, and had his special day with cookies at school. They all sang Happy Birthday to him, in his birthday hat. His sunday school teacher came over and brought him a tiny cake, it was so cute. He was thrilled!! We love you Dana!!! All in all a great day, a week really of partying. His party is Sat. Dad decorated the whole house for him in streamers and made him a special birthday breakfast.A big thanks to him.

His cousins Daisy, Rory, and Cole sent him a bubble blower. It is a talking dinasaur that burps. What could be better. Mart send him some fun bath toys and water ballons (a special thanks for that)!!! Hee he he. and money to get a new ds game. You guys are the best. We love you tons. Thanks for making his day so special. His friend Palmer called to wish him a Happy Birthday.
